North Myrtle Beach has great beach access at just about every block. From Main Street north there are ocean side public parking lots at every block on Ocean Blvd. until you reach the Cherry Grove section. In the Cherry Grove section and south of Main Street there are still ample public parking lots across the street from the ocean and numerous public beach access locations. Take a look at 8th Ave N., 12th Ave N., and 15th Ave N. (shown in the pictures below).
For those who want beach access without steps North Myrtle Beach has about twelve ramps that take you from the ocean side parking lot, over the dunes, and down to the shore. The ramps are new, wide and railed. Access at Main Street and Sea Mountain Hwy. is simply flat ground with no sand dune.
